Mod Tone Power Plant

The ModTone Power Plant is professional quality power supply for the discriminating player. This power supply is a heavy duty multiple pedal power unit that rivals some of the biggest and best in the industry.   The ModTone Power Plant features a toroidal transformer with isolated outputs. This unit shares many things in common with other power supplies such as an IED power input DIP switch power selection (9VDC to 12VDC) and two “SAG-able” outputs but that is where the comparison ends.  We have placed the DIP switches on the back of the unit so if it is mounted on a pedal-board it does not need to be removed to access the switches.  The SAG adjustment pots are trim pot set screws to lessen the chance of inadvertent changes.  A courtesy outlet on the back has been rotated 90 degrees to accommodate wall wart style plugs.  But here is the big difference; of the eight total outputs five are regular 9VDC two are 9VDC with SAG and the final output is a 9VAC.  That gives the user the ability to use this supply to power everything from a wah to...you name it all with one unit.

  • 5 year written warranty

  • Completely isolated clean power

  • Will power any pedal on the market even 9 volt ac

  • Recessed SAG switches eliminate accidental adjustments

  • Rear mount DIP switches for easy access after mounting

Mod Tone Speedbox Distortion Pedal

A gift that was appreciated and well used.5

This was a Christmas Gift for my son in law who plays guitars many of them collects them as a matter of fact.

He loved it and the effect it has on his different electric guitars final sound out of the amplifier.

His music room is insulated from the rest of the house other wise my daughter would have had words on this subject.

It was shipped and quickly packaged well and best of all it worked when he used it which is immediately upon opening the gift.

Other than that I cannot comment not being a musician/guitar player etc. but the price was right in comparison shopping something others in my position might heed when searching for something they know little to nothing about.More detail ...

Mod Tone Aqua Chorus

Bad experience1

When I was trying the "MODTONE CHORUS" I detected two problems:

1)When the on / off switch is activated it makes a big noise (there is a noticeable "pop" when you switch);

2)There is a noticeable "hiss" when it is turned "on".

I returned the Modtone Chorus to Amazon.
